Job Overview
We are seeking an HR Onboarding Specialist on a contract basis to manage daily HR activities involving recruitment, onboarding, reporting, employee engagement, and general administrative responsibilities. This position is a maternity cover and offers a chance to actively contribute to a dynamic and progressive HR team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding procedures for all new hires, ensuring they receive effective induction.
- Supervise and refine the onboarding experience for both candidates and hiring managers to maintain positivity.
- Regularly update hiring managers and stakeholders on onboarding progress.
- Identify and resolve onboarding challenges, employing a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
- Maintain ongoing communication with hiring managers to strengthen working relationships.
- Organize and manage employee records meticulously.
- Collaborate with the HR team to advance HR initiatives focused on employee engagement, employer value proposition (EVP), and wellbeing.
- Handle general administrative duties to support HR functions.
- Assist recruitment campaigns by advertising jobs, screening resumes, arranging interviews, and updating the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Manage multiple shared email inboxes efficiently.
- Conduct reference verifications for candidates.
- Prepare and issue employment contracts.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in human resources or completed HR-related academic placement.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fully authorized to work in Ireland.
- A degree in HR, Business, or similar fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in a comparable HR role is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships across various organizational levels is advantageous.
- Experience managing shared inboxes is beneficial.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems will be considered a strong advantage.
