About the Role

Sahana Information, a globally recognized Japanese auto ancillary manufacturer with over a century of history, is seeking an experienced HR Industrial Relations and Administration Manager for its facility in Hoskote, Bangalore. This role is crucial for fostering a positive work environment and ensuring smooth operations within the manufacturing sector. The company has a worldwide presence and is committed to excellence in its products and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all industrial relations activities, ensuring a harmonious relationship between management and unionized workers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to cultivate a positive and productive work culture within the organization.
  • Handle all aspects of HR administration, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Manage disciplinary proceedings and actions in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Oversee contract labor management and ensure adherence to all relevant statutory laws.
  • Represent the company in legal matters related to industrial disputes and court cases.
  • Lead negotiations with trade unions on wage settlements and other collective bargaining matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and labor laws applicable to the manufacturing industry.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR, Industrial Relations, and Administration, with a proven track record in the manufacturing industry. Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. A high degree of customer and business orientation, commitment, and personal integrity is expected.

This position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically within HR and IR functions. The role involves managing a team and requires a Master of Social Work (MSW), MBA, or LLM degree.
