Role Overview

We are seeking an HR Generalist capable of managing both HR functions and office operations to support our growing team. This role is available full-time or part-time with a minimum of 32 hours weekly and is based onsite in Munich.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding.
  • Create and handle employment contracts, certificates, and relevant HR documents.
  • Maintain and update personnel data as well as HR management systems.
  • Independently lead the full recruitment process including needs analysis, job posting, contract negotiation, and onboarding new hires.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee-related HR inquiries.
  • Prepare, facilitate, and follow up on performance reviews and assist managers in performance management.
  • Support payroll preparation in collaboration with external tax consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Participate in HR projects and contribute to developing company culture and employer branding.
  • Organize and oversee daily office operations.
  • Manage external service providers and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate procurement, mail handling, and general administration tasks.
  • Plan and execute team events, workshops, and internal gatherings.
  • Welcome guests and external partners.
  • Oversee access management, including control of permissions and keys.
  • Coordinate occupational safety measures and maintain necessary documentation and training records.

Required Qualifications

  • Completed degree or commercial training with a focus on HR, office management, or equivalent qualification.
  • Initial work experience in HR and preferably office management.
  • Solid knowledge of labor law and administrative HR procedures.
  • Organized, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • High service orientation and enthusiasm for collaborating with people.
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
  • Proficient with digital HR tools.
