About the Role

This position serves as the primary contact for all HR-related inquiries, concerns, and work requests, ensuring timely closure of cases or escalation when necessary. The role requires processing HR transactions accurately and delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as first point of contact for incoming HR inquiries via calls, emails, and requests, addressing questions and resolving issues related to various HR processes and systems.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers until their requests are fully resolved, keeping them informed of progress and outcomes.
  • Provide consistent, accurate, and timely responses to routine HR process, system, and policy questions that require limited research.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks including processing and approving HR transactions, data entry, and verifying necessary documentation.
  • Educate employees on company policies and HR tools to empower them to resolve questions independently.
  • Refer complex or specialized cases requiring further interpretation or research to the appropriate HR Business Partner or HR Manager.
  • Manage document flow through handling incoming and outgoing forms, conducting document imaging, and ensuring proper record keeping.
  • Anticipate customer needs by offering additional relevant information to assist them in effectively performing their roles.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, Business, or related field from an accredited institution plus 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, certification, and experience may also be acceptable.

Preferred Credentials

Certification such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) is desirable.

Skills and Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices, relevant employment laws, and regulations.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced virtual environment.
  • Capability to comprehend and execute complex oral and written instructions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and complete assigned projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office equipment operation.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships internally and externally.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Access to personal transportation for commuting.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

This role involves predominantly sedentary to light physical work, with occasional lifting or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds. The work setting is primarily indoors with minimal exposure to adverse weather, environmental hazards, or high noise levels.
