About the Role

Chipotle is seeking an HR Business Partner to work with leaders in the restaurant support center. In this role, you will help shape people strategy, support key HR processes, and advise business leaders so their teams can deliver on Chipotle’s priorities. You will bring HR knowledge, employment law understanding, coaching ability, and practical problem-solving to help build a workplace aligned with the company’s mission, purpose, and values.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with leadership in the restaurant support center to build and execute people strategies that support business and functional goals, using insights from talent programs, culture initiatives, reporting, analytics, and employee feedback.
  • Coach managers across the full employee journey, including onboarding, learning and development, engagement, performance, and talent management.
  • Act as a partner and change guide for leaders as teams adapt to organizational shifts and new priorities.
  • Lead HR programs such as succession planning, talent calibration, and compensation cycles, while sharing feedback with centers of excellence to improve how programs are delivered.
  • Address employee concerns quickly and thoughtfully, applying company policies, HR practices, employment laws, and other regulations to provide guidance on employee relations matters.
  • Investigate employee relations issues in a timely manner and recommend next steps in coordination with key stakeholders, including legal partners when needed.
  • Work with client group leaders and the HR team to reinforce a unified culture that reflects the organization’s values.
  • Partner with HR centers of excellence such as Talent Development, Compensation, and Talent Management to help create solutions that fit client needs and stay true to company values.

What You’ll Need

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
  • Five to seven years of experience in an HR Business Partner role or a similar capacity.
  • Prior experience supporting corporate functions as an HRBP is preferred.
  • Professional HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are preferred.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Strong communication, influencing, conflict resolution, prioritization, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to four times per year, or more if needed.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus experience using Workday.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this position is $99,000 to $139,500 per year. In addition, the role may qualify for annual cash bonuses and equity awards depending on performance and other factors. The total rewards package also includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, sick leave, vacation time, and other benefits.
