This position sits within the DE Finance organization and is focused on partnering with HR and business leadership to strengthen people strategy, organizational health, and business performance.
As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping shape practical HR solutions, support change, and improve employee experience. The role calls for strong business judgment, consulting ability, and a hands-on approach to solving complex workforce challenges.
What you will do
- Support DE Finance in partnership with the Senior Manager, HRBP, while also contributing to broader team priorities.
- Act as the main HR contact for leaders in the assigned client groups, including Vice Presidents and Directors, advising on team effectiveness, organizational design, talent topics, and everyday HR decisions.
- Work with multiple HR partners to ensure smooth delivery of both immediate and long-range HR support.
- Coach managers on individual and team performance, development planning, employee engagement, and workplace issues.
- Own key talent activities such as performance calibration, talent review, succession planning, leadership development, and talent assessment.
- Support team and enterprise-wide initiatives, including data analysis, transformation efforts, talent mobility, and strategic projects.
- Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
What the role requires
- At least 5 years of experience as a People and Culture Business Partner or in a similar HR position.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- The ability to evaluate business needs and translate them into effective HR actions using data and varied inputs.
- Experience connecting HR programs to broader business and people strategies.
- A demonstrated ability to earn trust, influence leaders, and act as a credible advisor.
- Strong judgment in using workforce data and insights to guide decisions.
- Well-developed communication, organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working through multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Prior experience supporting business client groups in an HRBP or comparable capacity.
- Availability to work onsite four days each week, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays remote and flexibility to come onsite when needed.
Preferred experience
- Background across several HR areas such as organizational development, employee relations, talent acquisition, learning and development, and compensation.
- Experience managing projects.
- Work experience in a large, matrixed corporate environment.
