About the Role

This part-time HR Administrator position supports the People team with daily HR operations across the employee lifecycle. The role is focused on keeping HR processes accurate, well-organized, and responsive while acting as a dependable point of support for employees and internal partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with payroll administration by coordinating payroll across relevant providers, updating employee information, handling employment changes, checking payroll data, and working with internal teams to help ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
  • Manage onboarding activities from start to finish, including paperwork for new hires, access setup, equipment coordination, and collaboration with other teams to create a smooth employee introduction.
  • Handle offboarding tasks such as preparing exit documents, arranging removal of system access, coordinating equipment returns, and supporting a compliant and orderly departure process.
  • Support recruiting operations by organizing interviews, keeping job postings current, communicating with candidates, and coordinating with recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Respond to employee questions about HR policies, payroll, benefits, and general People Operations matters, escalating more complex issues when needed.
  • Maintain employee records, assist with HR reporting, protect data accuracy within HR systems, and contribute to process improvements and compliance-related work.
  • Provide broader administrative support to the People Operations team and help with special projects and operational initiatives as business needs change.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or HR Administration.
  • Background supporting payroll, onboarding, recruiting, or employee administration tasks.
  • Strong organizational ability with careful attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and juggle several priorities at once.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms and Google Workspace.

Compensation

The hourly pay target for this role is USD 33 to USD 37. The final offer may also reflect other elements of the total compensation package and will be influenced by regional market conditions. The stated range is provided in good faith and may be updated as market and business needs change.
