Role summary

This fully remote HR Administrator position supports the day-to-day functioning of internal HR operations for a growing landscape services business. The role focuses on maintaining accurate records, coordinating administrative workflows, supporting employee communication, and keeping HR processes organized and compliant.

The company is centered on service quality, clear communication, reliability, and a people-first approach. As the organization expands, this role will help strengthen HR structure, improve documentation accuracy, and support a consistent employee experience.

Work arrangement

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek aligned to U.S. business hours. The role is remote and requires someone who can work independently while staying organized and responsive.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the company time-off calendar current and accurate.
  • Monitor PTO records in BambooHR and maintain clean tracking data.
  • Organize and update digital HR filing and documentation systems.
  • Track holiday pay eligibility and ensure employee records reflect the latest information.
  • Prepare and share overtime reports with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with administrative payroll tracking and related documentation.
  • Support reporting needs tied to attendance and workforce hours.
  • Coordinate monthly employee review requests.
  • Draft communications related to pay changes when needed.
  • Send proposed pay increase emails as instructed.
  • Prepare disciplinary documents when required.
  • Handle general HR administrative tasks and ongoing recordkeeping.
  • Help improve organization of HR processes and digital files.
  • Provide broad administrative support for HR operations across the business.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in HR administration or HR support.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid organizational ability.
  • Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential employee information with discretion.
  • Comfort working independently in a fully remote setting.
  • Good command of digital documentation and recordkeeping tools.
  • Experience with BambooHR is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Aspire or a similar HR/operations platform is a plus.
  • Background in HR coordination, payroll support, or similar administrative HR work is preferred.
  • Experience in a service-based or field operations environment is preferred.
