About the Role
Join the team at Ayers Rock Resort as a Housing Services Handyperson based onsite in Yulara, Northern Territory, just a 20-minute drive from Uluru, an iconic cultural landmark in Australia. This position calls for a skilled individual with practical experience in trade work and a solid understanding of building construction. The successful candidate will be involved in maintaining and repairing residential buildings and supporting tradespersons with various trade-related tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily department operations, especially concerning cleaning, property preparation, and inventory management of furniture and related equipment.
- Promptly maintain and repair buildings, fixtures, and fittings as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Respond immediately to urgent repair requests to uphold a high standard of guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Must hold a current Full Australian Driver's Licence.
- Possession of a valid White Card is essential.
- Completion of a National Criminal History Check is mandatory as part of recruitment.
