Position Summary

The Houseperson/Runner supports Supervisors and Housekeepers in achieving timely, quality standards. The role involves maintaining storage organization, assisting with linen removal and delivery, ensuring cleanliness across properties, reporting maintenance and lost items, moving furniture, and providing exceptional customer service aligned with company values.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep high standards of cleanliness and organization in storage areas.
• Assist with stripping soiled linens from units and removing trash.
• Prepare and transport linen and supply bags to designated units.
• Inspect all assigned buildings or floors for leftover linen, trash, or equipment.
• Report maintenance problems and lost-and-found items following company procedure.
• Relocate furniture as required to support housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain safe working conditions at all sites and comply with site operation guidelines.
• Work efficiently to meet scheduled unit turnovers.
• Use supplies and equipment responsibly to maximize efficiency.
• Aid in linen inventory and supply management.
• Handle guest complaints promptly and courteously.
• Deliver guest items and assist guests and property owners as needed.
• Have knowledgeable awareness of the resort to provide helpful assistance.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Strong decision-making, scheduling, and planning skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic abilities.
• Punctual and reliable with personal time management.
• Passion for cleanliness and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to adapt and learn new behaviors.
• Willing to work irregular hours.
• Valid driver’s license required for some locations.

Physical Requirements

This role frequently involves standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, occasional stairs, and repetitive motions. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to fulfill essential job duties.
