Housekeeping Staff - Commercial

Overview

The Housekeeping Staff role is tasked with upholding superior cleanliness, sanitation, and aesthetics throughout assigned commercial and corporate areas. The objective is to guarantee a spotless, safe, and inviting atmosphere for clients, staff, and visitors while following Kassel Works LLP's exacting standards and procedures.

Primary Duties

• Carry out daily cleaning routines including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, carpets, and communal areas using industrial-grade equipment.
• Wipe and dust surfaces such as desks, reception zones, meeting rooms, glass panels, and various fixtures.
• Manage waste disposal by emptying bins, replacing liners daily, and ensuring proper sorting of dry, wet, and hazardous waste streams.
• Maintain continuous cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms, making certain that essential supplies like soap, tissue, and paper towels are replenished at all times.

• Execute specialized tasks like cleaning glass windows, partitions, mirrors, and performing scheduled deep cleans such as carpet shampooing, floor polishing, and upholstery washing.
• Quickly respond to and clean any spills or stains in heavily trafficked areas.

• Operate commercial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuum cleaners carefully and competently.
• Handle and dilute cleaning agents in strict accordance with safety data sheets and manufacturer guidelines.
• Immediately report any equipment issues, damages, or maintenance needs to supervisors.

• Conform to corporate health and safety regulations, including mandated use of personal protective equipment when necessary.
• Maintain a tidy and professional appearance by wearing the official Kassel Works uniform consistently.
• Engage courteously and professionally with clients and building occupants at all times.
