Job Summary

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and work equipment in accordance with Shangri-La Hotel's standards. This role ensures that all guest accommodations and hotel facilities meet high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Clean a minimum of 15 guest rooms per 8-hour shift, adhering strictly to established procedures.
• Prepare rooms that are designated for guest occupancy, prioritizing tasks as directed.
• Perform turndown services, ensuring all established procedures and standards are met.
• Promptly report any loss or damage to linen, furniture, fixtures, or equipment to the relevant departments and follow up as necessary.
• Assist with the movement of furniture and fixtures as required.
• Execute carpet and furniture shampooing according to the established cleaning schedules, using appropriate chemicals and adhering to proper handling procedures.
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, ensuring both cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Conduct daily checks of lighting fixtures in assigned restrooms and lockers for cleanliness and condition.
• Clean walls, mirrors, and lighting to meet stringent cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Scrub and clean sinks and toilet bowls, ensuring adherence to cleanliness and hygiene protocols.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience as a room attendant in a five-star hotel is required.
• Candidates must be physically fit to perform the duties of the role.
• Willingness to work extended duty hours is necessary.
