Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and proactive Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. This role requires a person with a friendly disposition who thrives on engaging positively with guests and collaborating closely with the hotel team.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Participate in comprehensive training programs to enhance skills and service quality.
• Maintain excellent grooming and professional presentation at all times.
• Work on a rotating roster as required by the position.
• Possess full Australian working rights.
• Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a consistent passion for delivering high standards.
• Establish and nurture effective, positive relationships across departments, including with General Management, Front Office, and Maintenance teams.
• Exhibit leadership by guiding the team proactively, promoting high performance and productivity.
• Manage staff effectively by overseeing training, development, rostering, work allocation, and encouraging performance improvements.
• Maintain accurate records related to room counts, payroll, and billing, ensuring compliance with the Hospitality Industry General Award.
• Uphold standard operating procedures and client requirements diligently within the department.
• Lead workplace safety initiatives and comply with organizational and client health and safety policies, demonstrating accountability for employee well-being and a safe working environment.
• Conduct thorough daily room inspections within a 4 or 5 star housekeeping setting to verify task completion according to service standards and scheduled arrival times.
• Bring previous experience working within outsourced hospitality services.
