Job Overview and Duties

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures that guest rooms, villas, common areas, and designated workspaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is vital in creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that aligns with the Gamra by Mantis and Accor brand quality expectations.

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, villas, and bathrooms following hotel protocols.
• Change linens, make beds, replenish towels and guest amenities, and ensure all room features function correctly.
• Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitization tasks in all designated zones.
• Prepare rooms promptly to accommodate guest arrivals and departures.
• Promptly report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
• Support upkeep of public spaces, including corridors, stairwells, service zones, and housekeeping storage areas.
• Keep housekeeping trolleys clean, organized, and fully stocked, and report any defective equipment or supply shortages.
• Attend to guest requests politely and assist as needed while respecting guest privacy and confidentiality.
• Manage lost and found items per hotel guidelines.
• Operate cleaning machinery and chemicals safely and according to protocols.
• Adhere to all SOPs and comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate in emergency drills and procedures.

Candidate Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel or resort housekeeping preferred; luxury hotel exposure is a plus but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Physically capable of performing manual cleaning duties.
• Familiarity with cleaning agents, tools, and hygiene standards.
• Understanding of occupational health, safety practices, and Saudi labour law is beneficial.
