Housekeeping Attendant

Role overview

This position is responsible for keeping guest accommodations and shared hotel spaces clean, orderly, and ready for use. The role follows supervisor direction and must be carried out in line with hotel rules, service standards, and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up room keys and the day’s work allocation, then prepare the housekeeping cart and required supplies so duties can be completed efficiently without avoidable delays.
• Clean guest rooms thoroughly and restock all room amenities in accordance with the property’s service standards.
• Sanitize and refresh bathrooms while meeting housekeeping quality expectations and safety requirements.
• Neatly organize guests’ belongings while servicing rooms and bathrooms.
• Coordinate with valet services for guest laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing requests to support a smooth guest experience.
• Clean and maintain guest corridors, service pantries, and other back-of-house service areas to keep them presentable and orderly.
• Escalate maintenance concerns to the Engineering team so repairs and preventive upkeep can be handled promptly.
• Remain mindful of guest preferences and needs when working in rooms and public spaces, maintaining courtesy and service focus.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety practices at all times in accordance with company policy.
• Comply consistently with all hotel environmental, health, and safety procedures.
