Swissôtel Al Maqam is the brand’s second property in Saudi Arabia. The hotel features 1,624 stylish rooms and suites with a contemporary design inspired by modern Arab culture. Located within the Abraj Al Bait complex, this five-star hotel sits close to the holy Masjid Al Haram and offers views of the Ka’aba and the Grand Mosque. The property also includes two restaurants, an executive lounge, two meeting rooms, a business centre, and private entrances for easier access to Al Masjid Al Haram.

Role Summary

This position reports to the Floor Supervisor and focuses on keeping guest rooms clean, organized, and ready to the hotel’s standards while delivering courteous service to guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consistently professional, warm, and engaging service to guests.
• Prepare assigned guest rooms by dusting, making beds, removing used linens, collecting fresh linens, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and windows from inside, and restocking room supplies.
• Check master keys in and out each day as required.
• Use cleaning products and equipment correctly and efficiently.
• Keep accurate records of rooms that have been serviced.
• Bring any lost property to the Housekeeping Office and label it properly.
• Work according to departmental procedures and Swissôtel service standards.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns that need attention.
• Observe all safety and hygiene rules at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• This opportunity is reserved for Saudi nationals under the Tamayyaz Program.
• Candidates may be new to the workforce; fresh graduates and applicants with up to 6 months of relevant experience are welcome.
• Basic English ability is required.
• A genuine interest in hospitality is important.
• Strong communication and people skills are expected.
• The role requires a cooperative team member who can support colleagues proactively.
• Applicants should be able to work flexible schedules based on department needs.
• Attention to guest needs and a calm, polite manner are essential.
• Previous exposure to Opera or a similar hotel system is preferred.
• English fluency is listed as an additional requirement.

Additional Information

The job is part of the Tamayyaz Program, which is specifically intended for Saudi nationals. The position is full-time and onsite in the Makkah Region.
