Job description

Position Overview

We are looking for a service-oriented and energetic Housekeeping Attendant to support the guest experience by keeping rooms and shared areas clean, orderly, and welcoming. This role is centered on delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer care while following hotel procedures closely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect the daily task list, room keys, and cleaning supplies from the supervisor, and record the key issuance correctly in the log book.
  • Carry out cleaning duties in guest rooms and bathrooms.
  • Ensure fire exits and staircases remain free from any blockage.
  • Report maintenance concerns without delay whenever repairs are needed.
  • Remove litter from corridors and walkways.
  • Vacuum carpets and upholstered items, dust and wipe surfaces, and empty ashtrays and waste bins.
  • Prepare beds and thoroughly clean sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, and floors; also polish brass and metal fittings.
  • Restock bathroom amenities and guest room supplies as needed.
  • Organize guest toiletries neatly on vanity counters and spot-clean carpets when necessary.
  • Keep guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas clean, orderly, and presentable at all times.
  • Collect room service trays and trolleys from guest rooms and corridors.
  • Coordinate with valet services for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing of guest clothing.

Education and Experience

Preferably, applicants should have completed vocational training related to hotel housekeeping. A good level of English is considered an advantage.
