Role Summary

As a Housekeeping Assistant at Hawthorns Braintree Care Home, you will be part of a team ensuring that cleanliness and laundry standards are thoroughly maintained. Following our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, you will uphold high hotel service standards within the home.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties as directed by assigned worksheets.
• Understand various surface types and cleaning materials to maintain presentation and good condition of all areas.
• Treat all residents with dignity and respect, safeguarding their personal space and belongings at all times.

Candidate Profile

• Possess knowledge of Health and Safety protocols, including Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
• Have prior experience performing laundry cleaning in a public care environment.
• Show compassion and dedication to delivering superior housekeeping and laundry services to residents.
• Be adaptable and flexible to handle varied duties on short notice.

Additional Information

• This position requires a DBS Disclosure check; Avery Healthcare will cover the associated cost.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.
