Housekeeper

Position Summary

The housekeeper plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for clients and staff. This position is responsible for the upkeep of the entire facility, both indoors and outdoors, with attention to dust control, vacuuming, bathrooms, laundry, and the overall presentation of the home, office, and group rooms. The role also includes identifying items that may need repair or replacement and bringing them to attention as needed. Attendance at staff meetings is required.

Key Duties

• Maintain dust-free living spaces and furniture, fluff couch pillows, clean windows, and mop and vacuum floors in assigned areas.
• Keep bathrooms sanitary, including tubs, toilets, sinks, windows, and floors.
• Clean and organize refrigerators, stoves, cabinets, counters, and cupboards.
• Ensure blinds remain free of dust and cobwebs.
• Keep storage areas and laundry rooms neat and orderly.
• Make beds each day and replace linens whenever needed.
• Handle daily laundry for linens and towels, including folding and ironing.
• Clean outdoor areas such as patios, decks, railings, the BBQ area, and the pool area.
• Perform turn-down service for beds.
• Carry out weekly deep cleaning of refrigerators, cupboards, ovens, ranges, and range hoods.
• Check lamps and lighting daily and replace bulbs when necessary.

Experience and Knowledge

Prior facility maintenance experience is preferred.

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Medford, NJ. The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $17 to $20 per hour.
