At Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort, we are growing our housekeeping team and seeking dedicated individuals passionate about delivering excellent guest service in a lively team environment.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional cleanliness by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms: making beds meticulously, vacuuming floors, and maintaining spotless bathrooms.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks efficiently within assigned working hours.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily cleaning objectives and operational targets.
• Follow all safety and environmental guidelines diligently.
• Operate specialized cleaning tools and products safely, with provided training and equipment.
• Foster positive professional relationships with teammates, guests, and contractors, contributing to a respectful workplace.

Shift Details

• Rotating schedule covering all days Monday through Sunday.
• Shift start times range between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

Compensation

• Monday to Friday: $33.85 per hour (excluding superannuation)
• Saturday: $40.62 per hour
• Sunday: $47.39 per hour

Candidate Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive activities including bending, lifting, and extended standing.
• Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with guests and coworkers.
• Strong time management and prioritizing abilities.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a solid work ethic.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
