Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper at our Hearthwood at Athens community in Watkinsville, GA. The role involves thorough cleaning of resident suites and common areas, collaboration with team members, participation in trainings, and assisting with various tasks as assigned by the Environmental Services Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and community common areas as per schedule, including vacuuming, spot-cleaning carpets, dusting surfaces, cleaning ceilings and walls (removing cobwebs), trash removal, and laundering bed linens and towels.
• Support the annual deep cleaning service of resident suites according to planned schedules.
• Perform deep cleaning of community areas based on the cleaning roster.
• Work effectively with colleagues to enhance the experience of residents and their families.
• Attend onboarding sessions, annual training, in-service programs, and team meetings when requested.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Effective spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Compliance with state or provincial health-related requirements.
• Maintain any certifications required by local regulations.
• Consistently present a positive and professional demeanor.
