Role Summary

Uniting Goonellabah is inviting experienced part-time/temporary Kitchenhands and Catering Assistants to become part of our hotel services team supporting catering operations in our aged care facility. This role is based in Goonellabah, NSW, within a supportive environment dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors.

About Uniting Goonellabah

Our site in Goonellabah offers a beautiful and tranquil setting comprised of four households with up to 20 residents each. Our team promotes a thriving community where meaningful and enjoyable activities occur daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily catering operations, helping to provide nutritious, high-quality meals.
  • Support residents by contributing to their comfort, dignity, and independence through food services.
  • Work predominantly morning shifts on weekdays (6am–2pm or 7am–3pm) with weekend opportunities available for interested candidates.

Candidate Requirements

  • Certificate III in Hospitality or a relevant equivalent is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of three months’ experience in hospitality or food services roles such as catering, cooking or kitchenhand duties.
  • Strong understanding of safe food handling standards.
  • Experience in community or aged care settings is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated empathy, adaptability, and reliability with a commitment to exceptional service.
