Role Overview
Great National South Court Hotel in Raheen, Limerick is hiring an experienced Hotel Receptionist to join its growing team on a part-time, on-site basis. The hotel has also received Quality Employer Certification from the Irish Hotels Federation, reflecting its focus on workplace quality and employee development.

Key Duties
- Welcome guests warmly when they arrive at the hotel.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs while making sure all required details are captured accurately.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, opening times, service hours, and nearby local facilities.
- Prepare and issue guest bills, confirm their accuracy, and process payments in line with hotel procedures.
- Work closely with other departments to maintain smooth communication and service flow.
- Coordinate with the accommodation team regularly and keep them informed about relevant updates, especially room status.
- Respond to enquiries, requests, and general questions in a courteous and professional way.
- Follow up on group reservations, packages, and special offers.
- Keep in touch with the accounts team to ensure invoices and billing details are correct.
- Plan ahead by reviewing upcoming business and confirming reservations in advance.
- Monitor emails and make any required bookings or follow-up arrangements.
Candidate Profile
The hotel is looking for an individual with prior experience in a guest-facing or hotel reception role. Experience using Hotsoft would be an advantage. Strong interpersonal ability, a willingness to learn, confidence in asking questions, and a proactive approach to following up on queries are all important. The role also requires excellent communication skills, fluent English, and a polished, professional manner at all times.
Additional Requirements
Applicants must have full permission to work in the EU or hold a valid EU work visa. The position involves evening and weekend shifts.
