Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor - Marriott Al Forsan

Position Overview

This role involves overseeing the cleanliness of guest rooms, public spaces, and facilities such as pools to maintain high standards. The supervisor reviews room status reports, identifies discrepancies, prioritizes cleaning tasks, and updates room availability. They cooperate closely with Housekeeping management and coordinate efforts among departments like Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Documentation and timely communication regarding room discrepancies and status changes are essential duties. The position requires managing daily operations and ensuring seamless shift handovers.

Additional Duties

• Assist in recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, counseling, disciplinary actions, and motivating the housekeeping team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies along with safety and security protocols; report hazards and incidents promptly.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; safeguard company assets.
• Deliver excellent guest service by acknowledging and anticipating guests' needs and assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate professionally and foster positive relationships among colleagues.
• Consistently uphold quality standards across housekeeping services.
• Physically able to handle tasks involving lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending, including moving heavy objects safely and operating housekeeping equipment over uneven terrain.
• Utilize computers or point-of-sale systems for work-related information and paperwork.
• Perform additional reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least one year of relevant work experience in housekeeping or related fields.
• At least one year of supervisory experience managing teams.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
