About the Role

As a Hotel Cleanliness Expert at Marriott International in Goa, you will contribute significantly beyond merely ensuring a clean and tidy room. You will play a key part in crafting a memorable and distinctive guest experience by maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel. This position demands a versatile skill set in housekeeping, ranging from cleaning guest rooms and public spaces to restocking supplies and handling guest requests efficiently. Empowered with the freedom to move throughout assigned areas, you will ensure the environment remains inviting and supports the high hospitality standards Marriott is known for.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and an orderly appearance throughout the hotel, including guest rooms and public areas
• Respond promptly to guest requests to enhance their satisfaction
• Stock housekeeping carts effectively to ensure availability of cleaning supplies
• Adhere to Marriott’s safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment
• Maintain high-quality housekeeping standards consistently
• Uphold a professional appearance and communication style in accordance with company guidelines
• Be physically active on the job, standing, walking, lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned to support the team and guest experience

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including long periods of standing and moving around
• Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Commitment to safety, confidentiality, and company policies
• Professionalism in appearance and communication

This role is classified as non-management and is based at Vagator Beach Road, Goa, India.
