Job description

Overview

This role is based at Retallack Resort & Spa in Cornwall, where you’ll help keep the holiday homes’ hot tubs clean, safe, and ready for guests to enjoy. The position is a permanent full-time contract for 40 hours per week. Please note that accommodation is not provided.

Retallack Resort & Spa is set in the Cornish countryside and operates throughout the year. The site features exclusive barns and lodges, an aqua park, family activities, and Cornwall’s only FlowRider. The business is growing and focused on creating memorable holiday experiences.

What You’ll Do

You will be part of the holiday team looking after all hot tubs on site and making sure they are guest-ready at all times. The work includes daily checks, draining and refilling tubs on changeover days, and adjusting chemical levels as needed. You should also be prepared to help with other practical tasks when required, especially when supporting guests is the priority. Weekend and bank holiday working is essential because holiday operations run at peak times then.

Skills and Experience

Training will be provided, but the role calls for a welcoming manner, clear communication, practical problem-solving, and a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable pitching in wherever needed and keeping guest needs at the centre of your work. A full UK driving licence is required. Previous hot tub knowledge and experience working in a team would be beneficial, though they are not essential.

Pay and Working Pattern

The salary for this permanent role is £26,509 per year. The job is full-time, with a 40-hour weekly schedule. Accommodation is not available.
