Hot Tub Maintenance Person

Role Overview

Haulfryn is hiring a Hot Tub Maintenance Person for Finlake Holiday Park in Trusham, England. This is a permanent, on-site position offering 40 hours each week and paying £13.10 per hour. The role suits someone practical, detail-focused, and comfortable working outdoors while helping keep lodge hot tubs safe, clean, and fully operational.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Look after hot tubs across the lodge estate and make sure they remain in reliable working order and meet high presentation standards.
• Carry out water chemistry checks twice a day, perform deep cleans on changeover days, and respond quickly to problems to reduce disruption for guests.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance colleagues so tubs stay in excellent condition.
• Complete compliance records accurately and within required timeframes.
• Monitor and replenish supplies such as chemicals, PPE, and other necessary items.
• Follow health and safety requirements at all times and use protective equipment correctly.
• Help deliver a premium guest experience by fixing faults promptly and maintaining strong operational standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in hot tub upkeep or basic water testing is preferred, though not essential.
• Experience handling commercial cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH requirements is desirable.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
• Careful attention to detail and a dependable, hardworking approach.
• Good physical fitness and readiness to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Extra advantage if you have experience with photometers, a Pool Plant qualification, or PWTAG/BISHTA accreditation.

Pay and Working Pattern

The pay rate is £13.10 per hour. The role is full-time, permanent, and based on a 40-hour working week.
