Hostel Warden (Female)

Role Overview

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Amaravati campus is looking for a female Hostel Warden to manage student housing operations and support the day-to-day welfare of hostel residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Look after the health, cleanliness, safety, and overall comfort of students staying in the hostel.
• Implement hostel regulations and maintain a disciplined living environment.
• Address student concerns, offer guidance when needed, and help maintain a campus atmosphere free from ragging.
• Coordinate mess-related activities and be available to deal with urgent situations, including outside regular working hours.
• Handle hostel admissions, carry out administrative duties, and prepare routine status reports.

Eligibility and Qualification

Candidates should have completed at least Plus Two; a graduate degree is preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Ability to lead and manage students effectively
• Comfort in handling student concerns with maturity and care
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong coordination and administrative ability
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Fluency in English and Telugu; Hindi is an added advantage
