About the Role

Shiraz Persian Restaurant & Bar is seeking a warm, confident, and guest-focused hospitality professional who can do more than serve tables. This position blends hosting, customer engagement, and sales-minded service to help create memorable dining experiences.

The ideal candidate enjoys speaking with people, making guests feel welcome, recommending menu items with enthusiasm, and contributing to a lively restaurant and bar atmosphere. This opportunity is best suited to someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and wants to help turn new visitors into repeat guests.

Key Duties

• Greet guests and set a welcoming tone from arrival to departure
• Talk customers through the menu and offer confident suggestions
• Increase sales through natural, professional recommendations of dishes, desserts, wines, and cocktails
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to provide smooth and memorable service
• Process payments and help maintain a tidy, polished dining space
• Support functions, private celebrations, and special events as needed
• Contribute to creating enjoyable and memorable experiences for every guest

What We’re Looking For

We want someone with prior experience in a restaurant or bar environment, strong communication skills, and a genuine understanding that hospitality is centered on people. The right person will be comfortable with upselling, able to recommend items without being forceful, and able to stay upbeat and composed during busy shifts.

A current RSA is required, or the willingness to obtain one. Experience with Persian or Middle Eastern cuisine would be helpful, though attitude and personality are considered more important than technical knowledge.
