About the Role

Cracker Barrel is looking for a friendly Host to create a welcoming first impression for guests and help keep the dining room moving smoothly. In this role, you will greet guests as they arrive, help manage the waitlist, provide updates with a positive attitude, and make sure tables are turned over and ready for the next party.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Greet guests warmly and help them feel comfortable from the moment they enter.
• Manage the waitlist and keep guests informed about their seating status.
• Coordinate table readiness so the dining room stays organized and efficient.
• Contribute to a team-focused environment and support smooth guest flow.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys making people feel welcome, stays calm under pressure, works well with others, and brings a positive, approachable attitude to every shift. Prior restaurant experience is not required, as training will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a paid part-time role with weekly competitive pay and access to same-day pay. Eligible employees receive health insurance from day one, vacation time, and an employee assistance program.
