Role Summary

F1 Arcade is hiring a Hospitality Manager for its Chicago venue. Reporting to the Guest Experience Manager, this position is focused on delivering a standout guest journey, maintaining excellent service standards, and supporting a lively, high-performing front-of-house operation in a competitive social entertainment setting.

What You Will Do

You will lead service delivery on the floor, make sure guests feel welcomed and well cared for, and help the team work smoothly and consistently during every shift. The role also involves building strong guest relationships, using feedback to improve operations, and helping create a warm, memorable atmosphere for visitors.

Guest Experience

  • Create a friendly first impression and make sure guests receive attentive service from arrival through departure.
  • Maintain and enforce service standards that support consistently strong guest satisfaction.
  • Check in with guests, understand their needs, and quickly resolve concerns or service issues.
  • Respond professionally to questions, comments, and complaints to improve the overall experience.

Team Leadership

  • Coach, encourage, and train front-of-house staff so they can deliver polished hospitality.
  • Supervise guest-facing team members such as reception, hosts, and servers to keep service running efficiently.
  • Run team briefings to share guest feedback, operational updates, and improvement ideas.

Operational Excellence

  • Review feedback from surveys, reviews, and direct guest conversations to spot patterns and opportunities.
  • Work closely with other departments to keep service seamless and address recurring guest issues.
  • Introduce practical process improvements that raise satisfaction, loyalty, and review performance.

Guest Engagement and Communication

  • Develop positive relationships with guests that encourage repeat visits and loyalty.
  • Support VIP experiences and tailored service for special events and occasions.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for guests and make sure requests are handled efficiently.

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular movement and hands-on participation in venue operations. Team members may spend time sitting briefly, speaking on the phone or through cloud-based video tools, and handling objects frequently. The job also involves standing and walking for long periods, frequent hand washing and sanitation, and working in environments that can shift between hot and cold conditions.

Additional physical demands include lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds when needed, lifting from floor to shoulder repeatedly and overhead occasionally, twisting and reaching often, grasping and manipulating objects continuously, and using knives, slicers, and other food-preparation tools. The work area may be compact, so occasional close contact with other team members should be expected. Communication with guests and coworkers, as well as use of handheld and desktop devices, is also part of the role.
