Company Overview
Stayer is developing an AI-driven operating system for accommodation businesses. The platform is designed to help short-term rental hosts, property managers, boutique hotels, serviced apartments, and holiday parks streamline day-to-day work and create better guest experiences through an AI-powered workforce.
At present, many operators juggle several separate tools for guest messaging, housekeeping, maintenance, property knowledge, standard operating procedures, staff coordination, and reservations. Stayer aims to unify these processes in one system so teams can operate more efficiently and grow with less manual work.
Role Overview
As the Hospitality Co-Founder, you will partner closely with the founder to sharpen the product direction, develop industry relationships, and contribute to the company’s expansion. This position is well suited to someone with strong accommodation or hospitality sector experience who wants to help build a technology company with the potential to shape a new category.
Key Contributions
- Bring hands-on expertise from the accommodation industry and advise on strategy.
- Assist in testing and validating product ideas as well as market demand.
- Connect the business with prospective customers, partners, and relevant industry contacts.
- Support go-to-market planning and broader growth initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry gatherings and customer-facing meetings.
- Help strengthen trust and credibility within the accommodation ecosystem.
- Contribute to fundraising conversations and investor engagement when needed.
Ideal Background
The preferred candidate has experience in short-term rentals, vacation rentals, property management, boutique hotels, serviced apartments, holiday parks, or hospitality technology. A strong grasp of accommodation operations, established industry connections, and familiarity with property management systems, channel managers, OTAs, guest communication tools, housekeeping, maintenance, or revenue management platforms will be valuable. An entrepreneurial outlook and enthusiasm for innovation are also important.
