Role Overview

We are seeking an Environmental Service Technician/Hospital Porter to join our Field Services team. This position is based within a hospital setting and primarily focuses on the transportation and management of healthcare waste across hospital premises, ensuring high standards of service quality are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport large 770L and 1100L wheeled bins from designated waste rooms to disposal points and back routinely.
• Clean extensive wheeled domestic and recycling bins of 770L capacity.
• Assist with project-specific tasks on-site to support contract requirements.
• Weekly collection and redistribution of reusable sharps containers.
• Help in segregating waste and managing bin bag color coding systems correctly.
• Strictly follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Basic understanding of workplace Health and Safety practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member.
• Competency to perform under pressure in fast-moving environments.
• Physical capability to undertake demanding tasks involving lifting and moving bulk containers.
• Willingness to work flexible hours according to operational needs.
