Role Overview
Spread Your Wings LLC is looking for a full-time Homecare Staff member in Lompoc, CA. This is an on-site role focused on helping clients live safely and comfortably while building a long-term career in care. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided.
Work Schedule
You can choose your own 8-hour shift on any day of the week within the 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM window. This role offers long-term employment.
Compensation
The pay rate for this position is $19.50 per hour.
Eligibility and Job Fit
A caregiver certificate is not required. This role is specifically for a male employee, while other openings are available for female candidates. A valid driver's license is required.
What You Will Do
You will support individuals in their homes or apartments by helping maintain a safe, encouraging, and structured environment. The role includes guidance, monitoring, and teaching around daily routines and living skills.

Spread Your Wings Direct Care Staff and Supportive Living Staff help create a supportive setting that promotes clients' quality of life. The work is centered on encouraging independence, dignity, and respectful care.
Responsibilities
- Support, supervise, and coach individuals in completing daytime activities and maintaining appropriate personal hygiene and behavior at home
- Help with grocery shopping, meal planning, meal preparation, and cleaning up afterward
- Encourage and guide clients who may have developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
- Organize tasks and routines that help clients stay on track toward their personal goals
Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting people with behavioral needs is an advantage
- Previous caregiving experience with friends or family is also a plus
- Genuine interest in helping others with patience and respect
- Strong problem-solving ability and flexibility to adjust to different needs
- Clear communication skills and a dependable work style
- Comfortable working independently in one-to-one settings
- Willingness to learn and develop in the role
