This is a franchised, AHCA-certified non-medical home care provider located in Broward County, dedicated to offering compassionate and high-quality companion and personal care services. Our goal is to help clients maintain safety and independence in the comfort of their own residences.
Position Overview
The Administrator will be entrusted with comprehensive operational, regulatory, and administrative responsibilities of the agency. This includes managing caregiver staffing, client onboarding, quality controls, and ensuring compliance with AHCA licensing standards, all while promoting a culture focused on accountability and compassionate care.
Key Duties
- Act as the official AHCA Administrator ensuring adherence to Florida's home care licensing rules.
- Manage daily agency operations such as scheduling caregivers, client intake, and coordinating services.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise caregiving and office teams.
- Keep policies, procedures, and necessary documentation current for licensing renewals and audits.
- Address client and caregiver issues, maintaining healthy relationships and satisfaction.
- Oversee quality assurance efforts including caregiver performance evaluations and client care planning.
- Maintain accurate personnel records, conduct background checks, and ensure all certifications are valid.
- Collaborate with franchise support to align local operations with brand expectations.
- Assist with business development efforts, including building referral links with healthcare providers, senior living communities, and hospital discharge planners.
- Handle budgeting responsibilities, oversee billing, and produce basic financial reports for the agency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma; Associate or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or related disciplines is preferred.
- Experience required in home care, home health, or similar healthcare service settings, with strong preference for those having supervisory or management background.
- Familiarity with Florida AHCA licensing requirements for non-medical home care agencies.
- Demonstrated leadership, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities to build trust with clients, families, and caregivers.
- Proficiency in scheduling and case management software, as well as general computer skills.
- Must hold a valid Florida driver's license and have dependable transportation.
- Ability to successfully pass a Level 2 background screening.
