Role Overview

Step into a dynamic position as a Home Visits Optical Assistant, driving eye care services directly to individuals who cannot visit stores. This role offers variety and excitement, engaging with different locations within the region stretching from Romford to Colchester and Bishop's Stortford down to Southend-on-Sea. Daily tasks vary, ensuring no two days are alike. While efforts are made to keep work close to home, flexibility to cover the entire region is occasionally required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from £27,000 to £29,000, depending on experience
• Car allowance of £3,000 per year
• Performance-based bonus averaging between £2,000 and £3,000 annually
• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with some flexibility required

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least six months to one year of current or recent experience in optical assistance with confident dispensing capabilities at all levels
• Possession of a full valid UK driving licence

Preferred Experience

• Background in a fast-paced customer service setting
• Previous optics experience beyond entry level
