About the Role
County Roscommon Disability Support Group CLG (RSG) is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Workers (HCSWs) to join their team in County Galway. Since 1989, RSG has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and service standards for individuals with disabilities and older adults. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Qualifications and Candidate Requirements
- Applicants should have completed or be pursuing full QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support certification or possess an equivalent or higher qualification including core modules in Care Skills and Care of Older Persons
- Alternatively, candidates with over one year of paid Home Care experience within the last three years holding at least QQI Level 5 Modules in Care Skills and Care of Older Persons and a plan to complete full QQI Level 5 within three years are encouraged to apply
- Candidates with over one year of paid experience in Home Care in the past three years but lacking the relevant QQI qualifications must commit to achieving QQI Level 5 Core Modules within 11 months of employment, aiming for full qualification within three years
- A full, clean driving license and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory
- Applicants must be personable, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate reliability, dedication, diligence, and trustworthiness
