Home Care Scheduler - Full-Time

Role overview

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring a full-time Scheduler in Pittsfield, MA. This office-based position runs Monday through Friday and follows either an 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule or an 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM schedule.

The role is central to making sure home care clients receive dependable support by organizing caregiver schedules and keeping clear, timely communication flowing between clients, families, caregivers, and administrative staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate caregiver assignments for home care clients.
• Pair caregivers with clients based on availability, required skills, and client-specific needs.
• Handle schedule adjustments, employee call-outs, and urgent coverage needs.
• Stay in close communication with caregivers, clients, and office personnel.
• Keep scheduling logs and related documentation accurate and up to date.
• Support staffing coverage so care remains consistent and uninterrupted.
• Deliver strong customer service while balancing several priorities in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, staffing, customer service, or healthcare is preferred.
• Strong organization and multitasking ability are important for success in this role.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills are needed.
• You should be comfortable working both independently and with a team.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling tools are required.
• Background in home care or healthcare is an added advantage.
