Role overview
Arch Health is hiring home care assistants to support clients in their own homes across Ireland. This is a field-based position, so you will travel to people living close to your area each day and deliver care where it is needed. What you will do
You will provide compassionate, practical assistance that helps clients remain independent and comfortable at home. The role includes personal support, day-to-day help, and emotional companionship.
Core duties
- Assist with personal care tasks
- Support safe movement and mobility
- Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
- Help with household tasks and home management
- Prepare meals as needed
- Provide medication reminders

Requirements
- A full, clean Irish driving licence is essential
- Own car is required
- Fluent English in speaking, reading, and writing is required
- Must already have unrestricted permission to work in Ireland
- No visa sponsorship is available for this position
- Will need to complete National Garda Vetting
- Must provide 2 to 3 verifiable professional references
- If you have lived outside Ireland, you must be able to obtain and submit an International Police Clearance
- A strong sense of empathy, patience, and a positive attitude are important
- Experience in care is helpful, but not mandatory
- Transferable skills are welcome
