About the Role
Join TELUS International AI-Data Solutions as a History and Cultural Context Expert, contributing to the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) safety. As AI capabilities grow, ensuring robust protective measures against biased or damaging outputs is critical. In this key role, you act as a strategic challenger, applying your analytical skills and cultural insight to rigorously test AI models and identify vulnerabilities that may compromise fairness and safety.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute adversarial assessments utilizing jailbreaking methods to detect weaknesses within AI systems.
- Analyze and document socio-political and religious sensitivities across various regions to enrich AI cultural intelligence.
- Compile comprehensive risk evaluations and work alongside policy teams to strengthen AI safeguard protocols.
- Assess moral decision-making processes of AI models in nuanced cases to guarantee compliance with safety standards and organizational values.
Candidate Eligibility
- Minimum of one year of professional experience.
- Availability to work during 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Indian Standard Time, accommodating company operations beyond India.
- Bachelor's degree in ethics, cyber law, cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
- Proficient English communication skills at an intermediate (B1) level or higher.
- Native-level fluency in at least one other language alongside a deep familiarity with its cultural and social customs.
Additional Information

Compensation & Application
