We are looking for a Historian / Academic / Research Writer to carry out detailed research, create well-structured written material, and support scholarly, policy, or institutional publications. Key Responsibilities

  • Take part in research meetings, seminars, and peer-review discussions.
  • Present findings in academic or public settings when needed.
  • Support the growth of internal knowledge and research planning.
  • Contribute to curriculum-related or educational initiatives where relevant.

Requirements

Applicants should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in History, Political Science, Sociology, International Relations, Anthropology, Literature, or a similar discipline. The role calls for 2 to 8 years of experience in academic research, historical research, policy writing, or scholarly publishing.

Strong research ability, critical analysis, and writing quality are essential. Familiarity with citation standards such as APA, Chicago, and MLA is expected, along with experience using research tools and academic platforms like Zotero, Mendeley, Google Scholar, and JSTOR.

Applicants should be comfortable working independently on extended research assignments, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and show strong intellectual discipline. Prior exposure to archival research is considered a significant advantage.
