Role Overview
The Hiring Growth Partner is Kyndryl’s most senior talent acquisition business partner and acts as the primary TA advisor to selected business leaders. The role is responsible for shaping recruitment strategy across assigned accounts, covering professional hiring, early career hiring, and executive search, while ensuring recruitment never limits the company’s ability to win business, deliver services, or scale.
This position works closely with the wider talent and HR ecosystem, including HR Business Partners, Workforce Solutions, and Talent Management. The goal is to connect recruitment activity to business outcomes, convert hiring progress into language leaders can act on, and support Kyndryl’s most important growth initiatives. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the VP, TA – Global Delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main strategic recruitment advisor for assigned pacesetter leaders, aligning hiring plans with their growth priorities, revenue goals, and customer commitments.
- Take ownership of recruitment strategy and hiring results for designated accounts across professional, early-career, and executive hiring.
- Drive talent strategy for high-priority expansion efforts such as mainframe modernization, agentic AI, forward deployed engineering, and other business-critical campaigns.
- Combine hiring activity, pipeline status, and progress updates into a clear business view for senior leaders, working with HR Business Partners and Workforce Solutions to keep the message aligned.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners so recruitment priorities and talent insights support the wider HR agenda and partnership model.
- Anticipate future hiring needs before they are formally raised, identify risk early, and work with delivery teams to solve issues before they affect the business.
- Coordinate with Delivery & Execution teams so RSR and TA delivery resources are focused on pacesetter priorities and hiring plans move quickly.
- Use market intelligence and talent insights, together with RSR, to refine hiring strategy and guide leaders on talent supply, market competition, and recruitment approach.
- Escalate recruitment risks, blockers, and challenges across the assigned accounts, ensuring leaders receive timely and accurate updates.
- Share learnings, market information, and best practices with peer Hiring Growth Partners to strengthen the overall operating model.

Required Experience and Skills
- At least 12 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or similar HR roles within large, complex global organisations.
- Business-level Japanese language ability to communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated background as a senior TA advisor to executive-level leaders, with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively.
- Strong understanding of the full recruitment spectrum, including early-career, professional, and executive hiring.
- Experience leading large-scale hiring programmes linked to growth objectives, with the ability to connect urgency in hiring to customer delivery and revenue deadlines.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to discuss revenue, customer delivery, and workforce growth in a way that resonates with senior leadership.
- Capability to partner across HR, Workforce Solutions, and Talent Management while respecting functional boundaries and maintaining a unified talent story.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to turn TA data and activity into compelling business narratives.
- Experience working in RPO or similar delivery models and using market intelligence to shape hiring strategy.
- Comfort working through ambiguity, delivering outcomes without direct authority, and managing several priority accounts at once.
