Overview

You will be part of a busy, cooperative office team, where the role centres on delivering day-to-day administrative and operational support across the organisation. It is a varied position that helps keep internal processes running smoothly while assisting both colleagues and managers.

Key responsibilities

  • Offer broad administrative assistance, including handling correspondence, preparing documents, and monitoring follow-up tasks.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation bookings when needed.
  • Keep filing systems accurate and well organised in both digital and paper formats.
  • Serve as the first professional point of contact for staff, visitors, and outside stakeholders.
  • Make sure the office remains tidy and supplied with essential items.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately and discreetly.
  • Update employee records and internal systems carefully and accurately.
  • Prepare employee updates and general business correspondence.
  • Support HR administration tasks as required.
  • Process supplier invoices and assist with financial monitoring.
  • Track annual leave records and employee leave requests.
  • Help maintain health and safety records, including revisions to policies and procedures.
  • Assist with planning schedules, coordinating training, and responding to general office queries.
  • Contribute to weekly and monthly reports for management.
  • Provide additional administrative support whenever needed.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in an administrative, office support, or similar coordination role.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and time-management ability.
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to manage confidential information carefully.
  • A proactive mindset with a practical, solution-focused approach.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a polished telephone manner.
