Role Overview
This position entails working as a HEDIS Analyst / Healthcare Quality Specialist on a remote, long-term contract basis with W2 employment status.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data collection, validation, and reporting related to HEDIS for Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, payers, and internal teams to ensure adherence to NCQA standards.
- Analyze healthcare datasets to detect care gaps and propose effective interventions.
- Assist in quality improvement efforts while ensuring thorough and accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to comply with audit schedules and submission deadlines.
Required Experience and Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid program frameworks.
- Practical expertise with HEDIS measurement processes including abstraction and reporting.
- Understanding of NCQA guidelines and healthcare compliance regulations.
- Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Experience in healthcare quality management, data analytics, or clinical review roles.
