Position Overview
The Town of Dartmouth's Department of Public Works invites applications for the role of Heavy Motor Equipment Operator II / Laborer I. This position entails performing skilled manual tasks with responsibility, primarily involving operation of heavy machinery such as dump trucks, snow plows, road rollers, mowers, and other assigned equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a High School Diploma or an equivalent certification.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience operating light and/or heavy automotive equipment, or a comparable mix of educational credentials and practical experience.
Mandatory Certifications
- Must hold a valid 4G Hoisting License.
- Must possess an MA CDL Class B License including a Tanker Endorsement.
Compensation Details
The hourly pay rate ranges from $25.90 to $30.46.
