Key responsibilities

• Use equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and grading machines to complete construction assignments.
• Carry out daily inspections and basic upkeep to help ensure equipment remains safe and dependable.
• Review plans, blueprints, and job details to perform work according to specifications.
• Work closely with supervisors and crew members to keep operations moving and meet deadlines.
• Follow site safety rules and operating procedures to help maintain a secure work environment.
• Support equipment transport, site cleanup, and other tasks when assigned.

Requirements

• Prior hands-on experience operating heavy construction equipment in a similar position.
• Valid certifications or licences for heavy equipment operation.
• Solid understanding of safe operating practices and construction safety standards.
• Ability to interpret construction instructions, plans, and job requirements.
• Physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel to different project locations as required.
