Overview

This role involves supporting the maintenance team by performing a range of servicing, repairs, and upkeep of heavy mobile equipment on a 14/7 roster.
Key Duties
- Operate on a 14 days on, 7 days off roster, involving 12-hour shifts both day and night.
- Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance for a fleet including CAT 793, 16M, 994, Komatsu WA1200, Liebherr T264, and other machinery, adhering to company maintenance guidelines.
- Complete general maintenance tasks, manage breakdowns, conduct servicing, and carry out component replacements to a high standard.
- Consult technical manuals, OEM documents, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems to inform maintenance activities.
- Maintain exemplary housekeeping standards within the work environment.
- Perform pre-start safety and condition checks on equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Trade certificate or equivalent qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter.
- A minimum of five years’ post-trade experience working in mining or Heavy Earth Moving equipment maintenance and induction.
- Proven experience servicing and repairing CAT, Komatsu, and Liebherr heavy mining equipment.
- Familiarity with vehicle air conditioning systems is a desirable asset.
- Holding a HR (Heavy Rigid) driver’s licence is preferred.
- Strong commitment and adherence to health and safety protocols at all times.
