Healthcare Trainer - General Duty Assistant & Home Health Aide

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Healthcare Trainer specialized in General Duty Assistant (GDA) and Home Health Aide (HHA) programs. The trainer will conduct technical training sessions and also serve as a mentor, counselor, and motivator to assist candidates in securing employment and sustaining it for at least 90 days post-placement. This role is crucial in enhancing learning outcomes, reducing dropout rates, ensuring successful course completions, and supporting placement and retention targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver theory and practical classes aligned with NSDC/HSSC curricula.
• Facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences demonstrating healthcare procedures and safety protocols.
• Assess trainees through tests, assignments, and hands-on demonstrations.
• Create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages regular attendance and course completion.
• Identify and support trainees facing learning or attendance challenges through counseling.
• Conduct sessions on personality development, communication, and employability skills preparing trainees for the workplace.
• Guide trainees in career planning and motivate participation in placement initiatives.
• Provide continuous mentorship to placed candidates to promote job retention for a minimum of 90 days.
• Maintain comprehensive records of attendance, progress, and assessments while ensuring compliance with relevant project guidelines.
• Collaborate with mobilization, placement, operations, and center management teams for seamless functioning.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, BPT, M.Sc. Nursing or equivalent.
• Certification as a Healthcare Trainer is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare training for GDA/HHA or similar roles is advantageous.
• Knowledge of skill development projects such as NSDC, HSSC, PMKVY, DDU-GKY, or OSDA is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills in Odia, Hindi, and basic English.
• Proficiency in counseling, mentoring, and motivational techniques.
• Capability to manage classrooms effectively and maintain discipline.
• Computer literacy including MS Office, Google Sheets, and Learning Management Systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
