About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker within the Inpatient Services department at Mid Argyll Hospital, located on the west coast of Scotland. Mid Argyll Hospital is a community hospital in a vibrant town, featuring a 15-bed GP acute ward for acute admissions, an Accident and Emergency department, and a busy Outpatient department with visiting specialists. The hospital also provides rehabilitation services from a multi-disciplinary team and Daycase services for adjunct therapies and transfusions.
Mid Argyll offers an excellent work-life balance with abundant outdoor pursuits, including local events like the Mid Argyll Triathlon, and fantastic cycling and water sports opportunities. The nearby islands of Islay, Gigha, Arran, and Jura are easily accessible via a good ferry service.
