Job description
Role Summary
This position is centered on reviewing healthcare-focused AI solutions to determine whether they are clinically sound, compliant with relevant standards, and suitable for use in real-world settings. The work calls for strong knowledge of healthcare delivery, clinical processes, and regulatory expectations so that AI models can be checked and improved before release.
The role has a direct influence on patient safety, workflow efficiency, and the overall trustworthiness of healthcare technology products.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine healthcare AI models to judge their clinical usefulness, data quality, and alignment with accepted medical practices.
- Compare model outputs with established healthcare guidelines and benchmark standards to confirm accuracy.
- Work with different teams to spot weaknesses in model performance and suggest practical improvements.
- Identify possible limitations, unusual cases, and bias-related risks in healthcare use cases, then provide clear feedback.
- Record evaluation results and help prepare reports that support model refinement and regulatory documentation.
Required Background
Candidates should bring at least 3 years of hands-on experience in healthcare systems, clinical operations, or health informatics. Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements such as HIPAA, FDA guidance for medical AI, or similar regulatory frameworks is expected.
You should be comfortable working with clinical data, healthcare terminology such as ICD-10 and SNOMED CT, and AI model outputs. The role also requires strong analytical ability, practical experience assessing AI models in healthcare or related fields, and excellent communication skills for explaining technical findings to non-technical audiences.
Additional Information
This is a remote opportunity that can be done from anywhere. The compensation is competitive and will depend on experience. The role contributes to the development of AI systems used in healthcare environments and may support diagnostics, treatment recommendations, or operational improvements for providers, payers, and patients worldwide.
